PMI, Ltd. is a consulting firm specializing in the design and engineering of world-class home cinemas and professional studios. PMI has completed a broad array of projects throughout the world, including private home theaters for famous actors, directors and producers, as well as recording studios, broadcast facilities and high-end A/V dealer showrooms. PMI provides complete design/engineering packages, calibration services and also facilitates the entire construction and implementation process of the designed room. Anthony Grimani founded PMI in 1999. As a veteran of Dolby Labs and Lucasfilm THX, he played a major role in developing many of the standards for home theater. Tony has assembled a professional team with vast experience in the fields of acoustics, physics, architecture, mechanical engineering and construction. PMI's design have won many awards including the Best Overall Large Home Theater category at CEDIA Expo 2007, and their work has been featured in magazines such as Home Entertainment, Audio Video Interiors and Home Theater. Karen Wertman - General Manager & Business Development
Karen’s career spans more than twenty-five years in marketing, sales and business management. She’s helped build brands in publishing, education and consumer electronics.
She’s devised and implemented winning marketing and communications strategies at diverse organizations that include UNC-Chapel Hill GAA, Miller Freeman, Mix Magazine, Ex’pression College and Indelible Branding. In addition, she’s consulted various companies, government organizations and non-profits.
Karen was also a partner and CEO for a speaker technology company, Sausalito Audio, where she helped develop the business and brand strategy, build the advisory board and position the company to investors.
Susan
Harward – Office Coordinator

Susan, as the PMI Office Coordinator, brings 25 years executive support and administration experience to the PMI lineup. Although her main love is singing opera and teaching using her Masters degree in classical voice, Susan performs live everyday as "The Voice of PMI" and is the first voice you hear when you call our office.
Susan's professional business backgrounds include manufacturing, systems administration, computer networking, mortgage banking secondary markets, customer service and retail sales. Susan, who moved to California from St. Louis, Missouri in 1997 and to this area in 2005, is still exploring Marin County and the San Francisco Bay area.
Her free-time pursuits frequently involve photography, philosophy, hiking, gardening, attending the San Francisco Opera, playing with pets, social networking, reading and cooking.
